CELEBRATING CULTURES OF THE WORLD
Letter from the Chairperson
Over the years, our projects and activities have enhanced community cohesion and the centre grew and became operating on a bigger scale. Every day we continue to help those in need and provide the best possible opportunities for people. To receive help and support, to gain new knowledge, skills and experience, to socialise, to share and exchange cultural values, to feel welcomed and valued.

We have united many charitable and commercial organisations for cooperation to achieve common aims and objectives. All the work that we do, is a collective effort. Our staff and volunteers go above and beyond in order to bring benefit to the local community. Running a supplementary school, delivering courses and classes, running various activities and hosting local, national and international events, participating in local council’s ceremonies and much more.

Our dedicated team are passionate about working together to help others, and we do our best to provide excellent work and volunteer opportunities and environment for our team. Our staff, volunteers and beneficiaries receive various awards and certificates from the council and the Mayors for their dedication, effort and achievement.
Best British Centre & Premiummmm School are proud to announce that Alex Popescu - a young art student, had achieved great results in art. His passion and dedication for the arts had resulted in his painting being turned into Jackie Doyle-Price's MP Christmas card. During their meeting, this painting was gifted to Jackie Doyle-Price, and not only it became a beautiful Christmas card, but it was shown to the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Well done Alex for your hard work, your love of art and your achievement!

Best British Centre is a non-for-profit organisation based in Thurrock. It was established in 2007 and since then has been engaging various communities of London and surrounding regions in many diverse activities, events and projects. Primarily working with children, young people and families from various backgrounds in the areas of culture, education, sport and social sphere. Helping those who are socially excluded on the grounds of their social or economic position through the provision of education and training, and social and recreational facilities and events involving a wide community.

Our Speciality is Education. We provide various educational services to the disadvantaged children, young people and families. We run supplementary classes for children, providing essential activities to help with social and physical development. Our courses cover dance, drama and art. Due to Covid-19 lockdown, children have been struggling to emotionally cope with isolation and being taken out of school and away from classmates, teachers and friends. Their physical state and development are also affected by lockdown. Therefore, we are taking extra measures to minimise these effects and provide an excellent environment to support children’s healthy development. For more details on our supplementary classes please click here.

Our History is marked with various national and international projects. Apart from providing numerous educational services and events to children, young people and families, we have also been targeting the recurring problems that many people face. We have arranged free legal advice services, ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) classes for beneficiaries and IT classes for elderly. We have worked on multiple government funded projects including BBC Children in Need, Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund.

Our vision and mission: To promote equality and diversity for the public benefit by bringing various communities together and promoting social cohesion, in particular but not exclusively by promoting activities to establish understanding and cultural exchange between people from diverse backgrounds. To provide necessary education for the disadvantaged children, young people and families to support healthy mental and physical development. To benefit the residents of London and surrounding areas by associating together with local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare to help improve the conditions of life for the residents.
