We provide free, confidential support to local residents with a range of everyday legal and emotional wellbeing needs. Our legal support covers areas such as employment, housing, consumer rights, domestic abuse, and family matters. We can explain basic rights, help with documents and letters, and signpost people to appropriate specialist services when needed.
We also offer emotional support and psychoeducation, including a safe space to talk, support with stress, loneliness, relationships, difficult life changes, and the effects of domestic abuse. Our volunteers work within their training and skills, providing non-judgmental support and practical information. Where specialist help is needed, we can help people find the right professional service.
